The election has not taken place so it is not official yet. But Barack Obama will be the 44th president of the United Sates of America. He will already be creating history on a November 2008 day when he is elected as the first black president of the country and he has the potential to add new glorious chapters in the American history during his term(s) in the office. He has lived up to his potentials so far and there are every reasons to believe that at the end of his political career, his name will be there alongside the most revered US presidents of all time. One cannot overlook his short political stint to date and therefore he could turn up to be a disaster for America or just an average president. However, his achievements so far indicate that he is truly special and only rare political species like Barack Obama succeed in writing new chapters in history.
At the end of the third presidential debate , the democratic senator from illinois made a simple request and an honest pledge to the American people. He said, ''I would ask for your vote, and I promise you that if you give me the extraordinary honor of serving as your president, I will work every single day, tirelessly, on your behalf and on the behalf of the future of our children.'' Throughout the democratic nomination campaign and during the presidential campaign up until now, Barack Obama has worked every single day, tirelessly, with calm.
